The Westgate Resort Myrtle Beach embarked on major upgrades to their property on the South Carolina coast. It was discovered that there were major concrete repairs needed all over the property from surface spalling on decks, support column repairs, to complete tear-outs of the entire thickness of balcony ledges. The contractor has extensive successful history with IMCO Technologies and introduced our industry leading concrete repair product Mg-Krete as an alternate to the specification. Full restoration is underway and all repairs – vertical, horizontal, overhead, topical and structural – will be utilizing Mg-Krete. In addition, Mg-Krete is impermeable which will help prevent future structure degradation in the high salt and moisture environment of a beachside resort.
